Andrew

I'm the last of my family, My parents died 4 years ago and my only sibling died last year. He liked motorcycles and had a crash and he died. He had been on drugs at the time, so at 23 I was the last of my family. Going thru the family photo albums putting black ribbon on the family members I had met since I was born and who had passed away since then. I couldn't remember anyone else in the family. While going thru the last album I came across a picture I remembered, but couldn't place. Taking out the picture on the back was the name Andrew then 6. So I went into my mother's papers looking for a clue who Andrew was and if he was related. Nothing that helped, then going thru my father's papers across Andrew's name as the child of my father's father youngest brother Bruce. Bruce had married late and Andrew was born five years before me. Bruce was 52 at the time of Andrew's birth and as they lived on the other side of the country and Bruce died at 64. Gemma his wife then 51 and Andrew didn't keep in contact. As Bruce was my great uncle that makes Andrew my uncle I think or a cousin at least. I know from family records that only 5 years after Bruce's death and Andrew wasn't mentioned. He would have been around 17 at the time and if still alive would be 29. Thirty in a few months, I wondered if I could found him. I joined online family history sites and no luck, then I contacted the local newspaper in the place Gemma had lived. They ran an ad for me, for information regarding Andrew. I got some information that Andrew had went to military school at 16 and only returned for his mother's funeral and left. Not heard of again, being well off financially from his mother's and father's estates. He didn't need to find work and could finish his schooling. Now knowing the school's name I was able to find out he passed out top of his class and went to university. Then into top military training and then into the military. I contacted the military branch and found out he was still in their ranks with the Rank of captain. He was stationed in the next state, so I went to see if I could contact him. Not having his picture I read the name tags on most captains I saw. But none was him, a female major saw me looking around like a lost sheep and asked if she could help. I told her I was looking for Andrew and she said I at the wrong place as she knew him and was in a special area. She told me to wait there and she would contact him and make arrangements so we could meet. She return a few minutes later saying Andrew was on his way over. Then she had to leave, about ten minutes a captain walked in and I knew it was him straight away as he looked a lot like my father at that age. After introducing ourselves, he took me outside to a quiet area to talk. He told me that he didn't have much family knowledge as his mother never kept any and didn't talk about it at all. He asked how long was I in town for and I said I had a week. Good he said We can get to know each other. After about a half an hour he had to return to his work, but we had arranged to meet for dinner at my hotel evening. We a great time together that night and saw a lot of each other, before I had to return to work. A fortnight later I received a call from him saying he would be in town that weekend and wanting to know If I would have dinner. I said I would and had a spare room if he was interested. He accepted and said He would see me Friday evening. I finished work at 4pm and Andrew arrived at 530pm and after a talking we went out for dinner and a movie. On returning home we had a drink or two and he kissed me as we danced together. I kissed him back as I was greatly attracted to him, we ended up sleeping together the whole time was here. After that we became very close and met every chance we could and having sex every time. I sold my family home and moved to be closer to him and we lived together. I couldn't find a job and Andrew said Don't worry looking and I stopped looking. That was late 2017 and I have since married Andrew and am expecting our first child in July. Andrew is up for promotion and that means we will be transferred he says.
