I bought a Nunery

Yes, I bought a Nunery, one empty of Nuns it adjoined my property and was on a hill and had great views of the whole area including the ocean. But it came with restrictions, not religious one but historical ones. Meaning I couldn't touch it facade or bell tower and any additions had to match the rest of the building's exterior. Which was okay by me as that was the main reason, I bought in the first. It looked like a fort in old pirate movies I loved as kid growing up. It even had the ramparts albeit without the old canons, well I asked could I put canons on the ramparts and was told yes if they were fake and lightweight. Made of fiberglass or wood, the ramparts weren't made to support heavy cannons and I couldn't touch the ramparts only fix problems, not rebuilt them to support real old canons. I got some great replicas from actual pirate movies, that look real and were only a tenth of the weight of real ones. You know the ones that roll on to the actors in the movies in action scenes. If it was real one the actor would've been crushed. But most important they looked the part; next plan was a moat. But it was very hard getting approval, but I did, and it would've cost 5 times my first plan would've cost me. No actual drawbridge allowed, but I could make a lookalike. The main cost would've been waterproofing the moat so the old walls wouldn't get damaged by the present of water. But I was told old castles and forts back in the day also had dry moats and it only cost triple the first plan, which was a long trench with a fake drawbridge. But the side of the trench closest to the walls had to be lined with stone to stop it giving way and damaging the wall. But once complete it looked fantastic, during all this renovation I had a female architect 29 I hired her as she specialized in old history buildings. We became very close, and she stay at my fort at night, and we started sleeping together and she got pregnant, and we married, I had already asked her to marry me before she got had pregnant and she had accepted. It just she was pregnant before the wedding, and it was planned. Now years and 4 children later, my dream home (fort) is perfect, and my wife still works, and she loves our fort. She also picks up things in her travels to add to our fort collections. She found a movie prop from a pirate movie and with its fake treasure it's stunning as a display piece.
