So Called Slut

I've never been great at dating women and have had some success over the years. I'm not short of cash and have a well-paying job and my own home. I bought the 4-bedroom 2-bathroom house on starting at my new job. As for dating I wasn't doing well but required to go and oversee a project that had fallen behind that changed. On my arrival I soon got to the core of the problem and made some changes and had stay longer to make sure everything was now working okay. So, I had time to meet and date women and I started to learn who was taken and who was available. I saw one woman looked very nice and found out she was available. But I was told by people she had a bad reputation and was slut to cut to the chase. Anyway, at first, I was shocked and on investigating more it didn't hold up. She didn't seem to date or be with anyone at all and so I decided to risk it and asked her out on a date and was refused. After the rejection I thought I must be really bad at dating as the local slut rejected me. A chance encounter with another woman, who turned out to be the mother of the so-called slut. I was told (short version) that her daughter had refused the advances of local politician and he had called a slut to cover his failure. As a result, her daughter didn't anyone and I told her mother I didn't believe her daughter was a slut. But my time in the area was coming to an end and I offered to give her daughter a job back in my hometown and would see them setup. I wasn't expecting any favors in return. They both thought it over agreed and I had her working in my section and renting a house across the street from my home. I got on really good with her mother and slowly the daughter came around to see I wasn't a creep like other men were to her. I finally got her out on a date and then another and when we finally had sex, I was her first lover. Then the pandemic was coming, I wanted her with me all the time and so we married quickly and just moved in together before the first lockdown. Her mother moved in also and I was able to continue working from home, my wife was laid off and by the time the lockdown was finished she had gotten pregnant and now I have a son and a beautiful wife and mother-in-law living with me.
