Taking over

My father Norman died and as his only child inherited his business, my mother died twenty years ago (cancer). I'm Richard after grandfather also deceased at 34 single I had been working in the city doing okay, but no prospect of advancement. So I returned to my home town to taking over business. The accountant used computers at her home and was happy with getting one at work, the one in the product area didn't need a computer and so wasn't worried either. I had set a month for completion, the firm I hired thought 3 weeks would do it but I wanted all staff comfortable using the computers and wanted the trainers hanging around that extra week. Moira got a little flustered at times in the last week. But I had gotten a good report on her so no worry for me on her doing her job. With trainers finishing on the Friday Moira thought she might get chop on the Monday, even those business was increasing. I was always last to leave of a evening, on that Friday evening Moira hung back to talk to me alone.
