Moved to the back blocks

Last year as the pandemic took hold I moved out the countryside to live and get away from the pandemic. I already had purchased a 25acre block of land a couple years before and had been preparing it for a pandemic or other type disasters. It was mostly ready with solar and wind power to give me power and a well hidden bunker setup with its own water supply and sewage system installed. I had an old rundown house also on the block to hide the other use I had for the land. The house just sat on the land not connected to anything, my only neighbors were 2 sisters in there forties who raised chickens and turkeys and kept to themselves. I Martin 47 divorced 2 grown children who don't want anything to do with me, so nothing to keep in the city. I moved fulltime to my land in April last year and got a lot of supplies in for a extra long stay. I wandered around my property checking it over and seeing what I use if I needed something I didn't already have stockpiled. I saw some animals I could shoot for food and eatable plants. While walking about my property I met Jessica 44 am her Caroline 42 walking their land and they said hello and introduced themselves to me. After a talk we went our own ways, but as the weeks passed I met them again several times. A friendship developed and the talks took longer, then I was invited to their place for Sunday dinner and soon was giving them a hand with some of their work after that. Not that they needed much help, Caroline was the first to asked if I had anyone special and if I was in the market for someone special. Around the end of June I started to sleep with both Caroline and Jessica and was spending more time in their place then mine. The winter was coldest I had yet experienced in my life. But being a city boy I wasn't use the country winters, but with 2 women in the same bed as me. Made up for the cold days, we're happy with the arrangement so far and will continue for now and see where it goes.
