I inherited a Haunted House

I'm Gerard 34 widower and have a son Raymond 7, my wife, Hayley died 3 years ago in a car accident. I'm well off financially and in June of last year my only uncle Winston died and I inherited everything. He was my only relative on my late father's side of the family. He was very well off and I got property, shares, and money. The property was commercial buildings and an apartment in the city, along with a 5 bedroom house on 50 plus acres in the country. At the time I was looking for a quiet place to raise Raymond and went and had a look at the house in the country. I liked what I saw and decide to modernize it for me and Raymond. That's when I found out it was supposed to be haunted as most local tradespeople didn't want to work on the house. Only the local roofing firm took on the job of reroofing the house and other buildings. They said the ghosts were only supposed to be in the house and they wouldn't be going inside. It took a month and I got tradespeople from the city to work on the house. They didn't see or hear anything while working there and after several months the house was ready for us to move. Raymond hoped the house was haunted and for the first week searched all over it look for a ghost. He didn't find any and was most disappointed. He started at the local school and met Jake and they soon became best buddies. Jake was also an only child to single parent Margaret 32 who's husband was killed 4 years earlier in a trucking accident. She worked at the local supermarket and soon after Raymond and Jake met. Jake started coming to our house after school and Margaret would pick him up after she finished work. I liked seeing her and after several weeks asked her out and she accepted. We started dating and it hard to date a woman with 2 7-year-old boys along on every date. Then I got Raymond into a supervised camping trip and paid for Jake could go as well. It gave me 3 days with Margaret alone without the boys and that was the first time we had sex. Then after several more months, Margaret and Jake moved in with us, after I had asked her to marry me and she accepted. It took a couple of months to arrange our wedding and we finally married in Late October and Margaret found out she was pregnant in September. Still, no ghosts and Margaret has stopped working and we are in the process of making a nursery and at Margaret's suggestion, I have got horses and chickens.
