Got Lucky

I (31) went to a party a last-minute decision, I'd to work late and had planned to skip it. But my last job I was working late to cover came in earlier than it had been planned too. So, I finish an hour earlier and decided to go to the party. I arrived and the party had been going for several hours, and most were either drunk or getting close to being so. I hadn't a girlfriend at the time and started checking out the women at the party. Most with either boyfriends or husbands, but I saw a woman 29 I knew. She worked for my family company and seemed to be unattached and had a man (45) trying to chat her up. He was obviously drunk, and another woman (43) was glaring at him, I found out later she was his wife. Luckily for him she was also drunk, and they are still married as far as I know. I went to the first woman's aid, making the man back off thinking I was her boyfriend. She hadn't had much to drink and had been thinking of leaving when cornered by the other man. I offered to take her home, as the party was boring and full of drunken people. She accepted and we left, I took her straight home and made no passes towards her and saw her to her door and then left to return to my home. The following Monday I asked how she was, and she said fine and so I tried my luck. Asking her out on a date, she looked at me and then after thinking it over agreed. We started dating and one date became two then another and so on, finally becoming lover on our tenth date. Now we were in a relationship and only using condoms during sex. But after starting a regular sexual relationship, I decided to ask her to marry me she accepted. Two things the happened, one was a quick wedding planned in just a month's time, two we stopped using condoms. Mainly as she wanted to have children quickly and at least 3. I was okay with it but hadn't thought about becoming a father straight away. Our mothers thought it a great idea and my wife got pregnant around the time of our wedding according to the doctor saying she about 10 weeks pregnant when she tested positive about 10 weeks after the wedding. That was 12 years ago and we've 5 children all very healthy. We'd 5 because when we'd had 3 a girl and 2 boys, we decided to try for another girl. We succeeded, but we'd twins a girl and a boy and decided that was enough.
