I took over as manager and it wasn't a huge job as the plant only employed 35 workers. I got the job because I was the one willing to take it. Being 35 at the time and just divorced made me take the job to reset my life. My ex had our 2 children and returned to live with parents. I started at the job, and it wasn't the high-profile type of job I was use too. Laid back compared to my previous job and I only had 2 office staff instead of 6 at my previous position and one was married (now 46), the other a widow (now 58). There wasn't fence between the blocks before and it was planned to be built at some point, but as yet hasn't been built. Of course, the lockdown closed the plant and all staff being put on furlough.
