A new Job and found a wife

I'm Douglas 36 in late 2018, I started a new job and moved interstate. I got myself a new home and settled in. I'm a construction engineer and wasn't the head engineer in the firm I now worked for. But I had experience from working overseas, that they needed and I used my experience on their largest project. Being single at the time and having a less than stellar love life before I preferred to work than date. Anyway I met Fiona 32 single at the time, she had just broken up with partner and was a little upset by that. He had found someone else and had just left her, I wasn't aware of that at the time. I also wasn't thinking of starting a relationship with anyone either. But as the project proceeded, Fiona was assigned to me as my assistant. Mainly to complete reports and allow me to oversee the construction. We had to work long hours together and spending all our waking moments together, we became close. I still hadn't thought of any relationship with her or anyone else, as I was to busy at the time. But after the major part of the construction was finished, I could relax at bit and could start having some fun. As we were away from home and the only female I knew was Fiona as I was too busy before to seek out women. I asked her out for dinner, not expecting anything beside having her company and dinner together. Which was all that happened, but we did start seeing each other outside of work more and more often. Finally sleeping together on the seventh date and we were now in a full relationship. On returning home Fiona moved in with me and I was quite happy she did and she was also made my fulltime assistant. Not because she was now my partner as nobody at the firm knew that at the time. But because we worked so well together. That was October 2019, in the new year 2020 I asked Fiona to marry me and she accepted and we married quickly as there was talk of a lockdown with the pandemic starting. When it started we were married and I worked from home doing reviews of of the next project and finishing up requirements needed so we could start when the lockdown was over. Fiona assisted me and we spent a fair amount of time in bed together and when the lockdown was over we started the new projects ground works. Fiona had also gotten pregnant during the lockdown, but we didn't know at the time. But as she missed her periods and then she got tested and found to be pregnant. It didn't impact our work, except when the rest of the firm's women found out she was pregnant, who gave her a baby shower. Now we've a baby girl Kylie and Fiona is still my assistant and travels with me. Rarely she is required on the actual building site and work from where we stay and has Kylie with her including when in the back in the head office and there is always someone who will look after Kylie if Fiona is needed to attend a meeting. I've an office of my own which I share with Fiona and Kylie.
