Cabin in the hills

I inherited a cabin in the hills, when my father died 2 years ago, as an only child I got everything. My mother passed away 20 years ago from cancer, so I was left well off as I had a good income and a good inheritance. At 33 single and not in any relationship at the time of the start of the pandemic. I decided to go to my cabin and wait out the pandemic, with satellite phone and internet I could work from there. I was getting everything I would need together and Karen 35 single who work with me asked if I would like company. Her main concern was that she had asthma and she worried that the virus might cause problems. Karen is of normal height, weight and looks and I'm skinny average height and balding. I agreed to let her join me and told her to get everything she would need. We left for the cabin just 2 days before the major lockdown came into being. We had enough supplies for about 6 or so weeks. The cabin had solar and wind power supply and water from a nearby creek my dad put small dams across years before. It didn't stop the flow of water cabin use and another area we used for swimming. There was a lake about 5 or so minutes walk from the cabin I could fish at. Karen I gave the larger bedroom and I took the smaller one and on arrival while got settled I took the chainsaw and cut up some old dead trees for firewood. A large open fireplace heated the cabin and even in the summer it can get pretty cold at night sometimes. Mainly when it rained, a couple days we were totally settled and into a routine. As the news about the pandemic got worse, we started to thing we might be at the cabin a lot longer than first thought. But we were happy to be away from it, over the follow days we got closer and ended up in bed together and from then on slept together every night. We swam together naked and slept together naked. But Karen ran out of her supply of the pill, I didn't have any condoms and we were very close and so we kept fucking without the pill. When the lockdown was over we headed back home and restock our supplies as it soon looked like another lockdown would soon follow. Karen seen her doctor and had a pregnancy test which was positive. We quickly married before returning to the cabin the day before the next lockdown came into force. It was a surprise for all our friends that we had married and we are very happy and Karen had twins a boy and a girl in April. Except for quick trips back to our home, we continue to stay at the cabin. Even now we have both had the vaccine.
