Reuniting with my Sister

My sister Lorelei and I with inseparable as youngsters and we were very unhappy when our parents divorced and we were split up. Lorelei going with my mother Rhonda and me with my father Robert, we weren't twins but we so close that we might as well had been twins. Our parents divorced when I was 12 and Lorelei 10 and we hardly saw each other again till I was 20 and I got work closer to my mother's home. I didn't visit as she had remarried and I felt I wasn't wanted. I tried to contact Lorelei and at first, had no luck. Then I ran into her in a shopping mall and she gave me her cellphone number and we started to see each other after that. Lorelei's stepfather Bruce was okay according to her and it was Rhonda that was the one stopping our seeing each other as she still held Robert to blame for everything wrong in her life and as I was with Robert I was also responsible. She didn't forgive easily and Lorelei and I had to keep our meeting a secret for awhile at least. Then I got offered a transfer to a better paying job and would have to move away. Lorelei was also going to go to university and she decided to pick one closer to my new home. After I had moved and Lorelei had started university, we were able to see each other a lot more and started going out together a lot. This led to us sleeping together and Lorelei getting pregnant, this exposed everything and Rhonda went ballistic over everything and Robert just shook his head. Bruce was more caring and said what's done is done and we now have to look to the future of them and the child. Rhonda blamed Robert for his low morals and the way I was raised by him. He told her to shut that huge mouth of hers, I told both of them to butt out and leave me and Lorelei alone. Last month baby Katherine arrived and only Bruce showed up to see her, followed a week later by Robert. Rhonda hasn't asked about or tried to see Katherine since her birth. Lorelei is back at university and both Bruce and Robert have told us if we need anything to call them.
