The cost of a weekend's Fun

I'm 32 and planned never to marry, I've 2 boys who have children to carry on the family name. Well off financially and enjoyed a great social life, then I was away from home working and the weekend came I'd to stay to finish the case. So, with no choice I decided to have fun locally, in our practice's local office was a young quiet woman 27. I'd taken an interest in, and I got her to be my date and thru drinking and romancing I bedded her. The problem was she had been a virgin, and I took no precautions at all. Once I realized my error, I thought little chance she'll get pregnant. Only then I found out she was related to the higher ups in the practice and much beloved. So, I could weather the fucking of her I thought, but if she got pregnant. Well, my coffin would be well and truly nailed shut. Used to getting own way, it was a real shock to my ego, that I wasn't immune to the results of my actions. Long and the short of it she duly got pregnant, and I married her for my self-preservation. We had a son and at first, I was thinking it was all her fault and I was cornered by her. But one day while shaving I was looking at myself and realized two things, first it was me who had seduced her and second, she was the best thing in my life ever. I go to work and hurry home at the end of the day, don't go drinking or chasing women like I used to do. I want to be with my wife, it had finally dawned one how lucky I was. I also got a promotion and got an assistant and that is my wife. No pressure to have as my assistant, I wanted her as my assistant and while our son is young there's no reason, she can't be my assistant. She doesn't take precautions and will probably get pregnant again soon, at least I hope so. My old life isn't missed by me, I prefer my new life with my wife and son. An accidental weekend mishap was the cost of change in my life and it's a cost I'm now happy I was smart enough to accept.
