Bored and so, I started a family

I've always been very self-confident and done well dating but wasn't ready to settle down. I have a great career and at 34 I wasn't looking to marry or start a family. But I was bored as my usual women I dated were away and I wasn't in the mood to go cruising the bars to pick up a woman. But as luck happens a casual conversation with a colleague, she (married) mentioned I was so distracting to one of her staff every time I came around. Her staff member was 31 fairly good looking with glasses and the office geek. But she was attracted to me according to my colleague, so me being me decided to tease the poor woman and in front of everyone asked her out on a date. She almost fainted and after a stunned silence my colleague answered for her saying of course she will. So, it's date then and I said and left the poor woman to be mocked by the others. Anyway, she never contacted me to cancel and so I went and picked her up taking her to a dinner and a show. I did enjoy myself and asked her out again and this time she said yes herself. Our third date I got her into my bed, and she stayed the whole weekend. I was happy with my progress and hadn't planned on anything other than a sexual relationship. But as they say things don't go always as you planned. First the pandemic was starting, and I lived alone and didn't want to be alone during a lockdown, even if only a few days. Most of my women friends were either away or moved back home for the coming lockdown. The only one that hadn't was my geeky new lover, who only rented a room at a boarding house. So, I asked her to move in with me for lockdown period, she accepted, and she moved in the day before lockdown started. With was great for me she done all the cooking and housework, as my 3 times a week housekeeper didn't come. I usually eat out and with everything closed, having my latest lover living with me was great for me. I also got sex and as the lockdown dragged on I got very sloppy in my behavior especially regarding precautions for sex. She just did as I wanted her to do and willing had sex with me anytime. The lockdown finally ended, and she had missed her period, not wanting it to get out I had her continue to stay with me. Stilling having sex but taking precautions myself. When she missed her second period she got tested and she was pregnant. I was shocked and wondered what I could do, at first, I thought of buying her off. But I didn't want that I soon decided as I liked her a great deal and found myself missing her every time, we were apart. So, I done the right thing as they say and asked her to marry me, and she accepted after thinking it over. Her slow response to my proposal was a wakeup call as I wasn't the irresistible person, I thought I was. Now happily married with a daughter and another on the way. I'm quite happy with my lifestyle now and my wife is still the same and a great mother. The only change is she is part of my office staff now.
