After my Divorce

I got divorced and my 2 children stayed with their mother, but she wasn't happy after the settlement with having the house. So, she sold it and moved next door to me in my new home. She actually bought the house next door to me, as you might have already realized. We aren't short of money, having my ex living next door to me wasn't a problem for me. I went to work and came home as usual and wasn't trying to start any relationships either. My wife was trying and failing to find a suitable man to start a relationship with. If she had a date the children would stay with me that night, which I loved. Her search for a relationship failed time and time again, always for the same reason. They weren't like me; they might look better than me. But didn't measure up, I was told my mother-in-law. Who was still seeing me regularly, always saying her daughter was nuts for divorcing me. But I wasn't trying to rekindle our relationship as I was happy to let continue as it now was. After almost 2 years since the divorce, I was on leave remodeling my home. My ex started coming over while the children were at school and wanting to talk. She hadn't had a date in weeks and according to her mother had given up. A week into my 2 weeks leave, she straight asked me for sex. Complaining she wasn't getting any. Nor was I, but I was trying either. Anyway, as I was waiting for the paint to dry. I decided why not, and we had sex and next day sex again and there after we started having regular sex. More than we were when we were married, she was quite happy coming over and having sex and after I was back at work, she made late night visits. That when on for about 6 months and then she found out she was pregnant again and I was the father. Which made the children happy and her mother, I wasn't sure exactly how I felt at first. But she went on to have our second daughter, we are still living next to each and haven't remarried. I'm happy with things as they are and so is she according to her mother. I'm might not be actually married, but you wouldn't know unless you were told. Any business function I go too, my ex is with me and we've dinner dates and family dates where we take the children somewhere special. One change is the installation of a gate between the yards and a dog. My wife isn't into pets, but I got a puppy for my children. He has worn down my ex and sleeps at her house near the children, but she claims he is mine.
