Holiday turns into new Career

I was jaded with everything, I seemed to be going nowhere career wise or in my life as well. So on finishing a contract I decided a reset was needed and went on a holiday. I found a cabin online and I rented it to getaway from the crowds of people in the city. On arrival I settled into the peace and quiet, but had trouble sleeping at first as the silence was deafening. But after a couple of days got use to it, I walked the trails and looked at the sites. Relaxed after a week made a trip into the local town for supplies, there I met Suzie 29 unattached good looking and took no nonsense from anyone. Her family ran the only store in town, it sold groceries, fuel, diner and hardware as well as produce agent. Also owned the cabin I rented, Suzie ran the store with her Mother Grace 46 and sister Emma 24. Emma walked with walking sticks, she had been injured in the same car accident that took their father. I was sitting having my lunch and then there was trouble their compressor decided to stop working. I'm a qualified engineer and decided to look at it for them as it would a day or so to get someone to come and fix it. I got it working and and when I went to pay for my lunch, Suzie said no charge you fixed our compressor. I started visiting for lunch and got on well with all of them, I wasn't in any hurry and extended my holiday, but unable to continue at the cabin as it was already booked by another person. So I moved into town and stayed in one of their rented rooms. It suited me as I liked being near Suzie, anyway I saw men try and fail to get her to go out with them. So I made my move via Grace getting in with her I thought would get me closer to Suzie. I also fixed other problems that came up I started to think of living there as my home base and travelling to jobs. But no houses available to buy or rent, I mentioned it to Grace. She said I should marry one of her daughters and I would've to buy anything. Being a lifelong smartass, I asked her what about you. Her reply shocked me, she said she would be the icing on the cake after I had married her daughter. So I asked which one who think I should marry, doesn't matter you can have both, marry one get one free she responded. I thought she was having me on and so when I was having my lunch, thinking I was being smart asked Suzie to marry me. She looked at me and then Grace and Grace nodded and Suzie said okay I'll marry you. I thought they were just joking, they weren't. I had already been weight and measured and found acceptable to join the family. The following day it was clear they were serious and I myself was also agreeable to marrying Suzie which I did the following week. From the start of my married life I found out I was not just married to Suzie but the family. Grace, Suzie and Emma were mine and Suzie and Emma wanted children asap. I had to return and get all my stuff and sell my apartment, which only took a week. On the way back in my new pickup, I had sold my car. I saw a good size house marked for sale and removal, so I stopped looked it over and bought it on the spot. On getting home as Suzie's home was now my home, I told her of my purchase saying I need to get a block of land to put it on. Suzie told Grace and Grace said check out the back of the store if there's enough room. We went had a look and there was plenty of space, there had been a house there years before. The reason I got the house was we were living behind the store in 2 rooms and with children to come it would be crowded. Three weeks later the house arrived and was put in place the removal company done all the prep and setting up. Several weeks later we were all moved in and a month after that Emma was confirmed as pregnant followed a month later by Suzie. At 33 I was set and very happy with my sudden change in lifestyle.
