Lucky Find

Saying I'm well off is an very big understatement. So I travel a great deal and on one of my travels I found an island not far off the coast(5miles). I fly about usually in my own plane and on seeing the island, I decided to have a closer look. It was uninhabited and about 5 to 6acres, turned out to be 7.5acres and was on the market. So I bought it straight away at good price, only then did I do a close investigation. It had a fresh water source and only one beach(55 yards long) and a area suited for a Jetty. I had the island built up to my vision 5 bedroom 2 bathroom house and trails made. There's a rocky hill which blocks most of the bad weather and so protects the buildings also protects the beach and Jetty. Most water sports can be practiced around the island so it became a family fun place. Once set up(2018) it was perfect for myself and others in my family. I decided to stay on the island when the pandemic started, it has everything I needed to keep in contact with whoever I needed too. I was involved a project at the time and could would via satellite internet installed on the island. I had an assistant back at the main office. Maria 29 is very good at her job and didn't date much at all and was more interested in her work. I'm Thomas 32 and as I heard of possible lockdowns, I retreated to my island. I got in everything I could thing of, I might need. But I left my laptop behind and so Maria had to bring it me. I picked her up on the mainland and she was to stay overnight and return home next day. Well there was a storm that stopped her getting back to the mainland and the following day a lockdown was introduced. So she was stuck with me on an island. Which was okay as we got on well and as the time passed we got on better and better. We finished the paperwork for the project and had nothing to continue on with due to the pandemic disrupting everything. The old saying about idle hands is true, with nothing to do we ended up sleeping together and walking about the island naked together. Maria didn't take precautions as she wasn't in a relationship and we had sex I would pull out precaution works well in the saying. But not in practice, you get so involved in the sexual act you forget or misjudge the timing. Anyway Maria is now my wife and we married shortly after the lockdown ended. She is a great mother to our twin girls, born from a slow withdrawal. But both are much loved by us and the island is our main base even now. It suits us and we've added a helipad.
