Mary my Neighbor

I live in an apartment building and there 50 apartments in the building. I live on the sixth floor and nearest neighbor is Mary 55 divorced lives alone. We hardly spoke until the pandemic and started talking to each other via our windows. Others neighbors weren't as interested in talking as we were, they weren't alone in their apartments like us. Once the lockdown was over we were going to have dinner together, it was something to look forward too. Finally the lockdown finished and we had our dinner together, Mary is slender and good looking for her age and we had become good friends during the lockdown. Two things then happened one Mary lost her job as the business closed and didn't reopen after the lockdown and the other my assistant resigned to be closer to her family. So Mary needed a job and I had a vacancy for a legal assistant, but it wasn't all that of a legal requirement for the job. More of a fetch and carry type job and things were really slow at the offices I could get what I wanted myself at the time. But when things picked up I would have to find an assistant fast. I as sitting in my office with nothing left to do one day when the idea of hiring Mary came to mind. She wasn't qualified as a legal assistant, but was smart and could easily do the work and while it was slow I could train her. Not waiting to see her when I got home I rang her, I asked how your job search going. No job yet a couple of possible, when things pickup, as everyone was worried about another lockdown. I said I've an opening for an assistant and thought you might like the job and we can discuss it when I get home, she just said okay. Three hours later I got home having picked up takeout on the way home. I put my stuff in my apartment and with the takeout knocked on Mary's door. She was happy I had brought dinner as she hadn't remembered to get anything while out before looking for a job. She told she wasn't qualified for my job offer and I said its slow at the moment and I'm really sure you can handle it and I'll have time to help her. Finally agreeing to give it a try, I took her to work next day as my new assistant and over 2 weeks she was learning what was required of her and she got a handle on it fairly quickly, if unsure about anything ask. Which she rarely did, every now then a legal term would confuse her a bit. But we got on really well together. Then around Christmas 2020, both with no plans we had Christmas together and partied harder than usual for us. Waking up the next day in bed together both naked, it slowly came back to me that we had fucked. I was unsure what I should do at first, but as I hadn't any remorse or sense I had really fucked up. I decided to go with it, shortly after Mary awoke, likewise a little unsure of our action the night before. But it quickly passed and we fucked again, regular sex is part of our relationship which is friendship with benefits. We enjoy each others company and fuck whenever we want too. Which doesn't impede our working together, Mary also is trying to find me a girlfriend. But she says she's too old to find a boyfriend herself.
