Change of Search

I'm David 32 returned from working overseas in research and on my return I decided I should buy my own house. But I wanted a small house or cottage and there weren't any available, then I was at the lake with friends and as we walked around the lake we saw houseboats. One of my friends said they were being used as homes mostly now rather than holiday homes. That got me thinking a houseboat and I saw several for sale signs. I started to investigate what was required and everything was okay as far as I was concerned. I inspected several houseboats and none were what I wanted in their layout, the last one wasn't ready to be lived in, it had been stripped out and was going to be redone. But the owner had gone a better offer and so was selling it, it was cheaper than the others and a blank slate. I purchased it and had my friend an architect design it's interior and got it refurbished. Once it was done it proved to be ideal for my lifestyle, moored at a private dock. No gardening no really close neighbors, everything I needed installed and a large waterbed. It was the perfect love nest and I done quite well with the ladies. But like anything in life things changed, I'm met Maria 29 and we became an item and then got we got married and started a family. But Maria loves living on the houseboat and we are still living there at the moment. We're building a home near her parents home, as they will be our child minding service in the future. But Maria doesn't want to sell the houseboat and wants it kept as a holiday home. So we're living on the houseboat till the house is finished and have recently also bought a piece of lake side land and installing our own dock to moor our houseboat and had it fenced and power installed it's further from town and we move the houseboat once we're in our new home.
