I bought my wife

You hear of arranged marriages and dowries and such things. But there is another way of getting a wife, you buy her from her family. Some countries its illegal to buy and sell people, they either don't know that it goes on or don't look for it. Usually the woman is from a poor family and being sold as a wife is good for her family and herself. I'm very well off and not seen as a great catch from women of my social standing. I'm short and almost bald and wear thick glasses and use to stutter, but have got over that now. But still nervous around women and the gorgeous women around me wouldn't give me a second look or a first look for that matter. Then one day I was told a cousin had just married overseas, I was shocked as I thought he was similar to me in looks. I found out he had bought a wife and on seeing her photo I was amazed. I finally had a way to get married to someone who wouldn't have to be blind and slow witted to marry me. So I decided to try my luck and travelled overseas and met my cousin and his bride. When I had the chance I asked him how he went about finding his wife. As luck would have it his wife's family had another daughter and would consider selling her also. My cousin was now living and working in the country and doing quite well and was almost the family head as his father in law was quite ill. His in-laws lived close by and he arranged for me to meet them, not telling them I was interested in buying her other daughter. It said it wasn't polite to raise business at a first meeting and also I could see his sister in law before being caught in purchase talks. I liked what I saw and later when he asked me was I interested in her, I answered certainly I'm interested. He talked with his wife that night and she asked her parents if they willing to sell their only other child at that time. Of course they were and from then on the negotiations started. Which didn't take long just a week and I married Asha 20 the following week and returned home. Everything was strange to her at first but I helped her and she soon got use to everything. She also got pregnant soon after our return, I was 30 at the time and haven't regretted my actions since our wedding. I'm now 59 have 5 children and 3 grandchildren and Asha is a good and loving wife and my cousin and his wife returned home 10 years after I had. As her parents had both passed away and they now across the road from Asha and me. Asha has free will and doesn't have to do what I say when I say it and makes all the family decisions.
