Margarita mam, my first

In 2005, When I was in Delhi, I was staying as a Paying guest in Lajpat Nagar.

In which 3rd floor terrace my room.

Second floor few college girls working girls stayed.

Ground and first Working Men stayed.

Every floor have dining rooms and balconies.

In top floor terrace one small room with old things of PG house owner and. I stayed in that room One bed, One chair table for study and one old air cooler given.

And a toilet which just adjacent in verandah of terrace in which washing machine also placed.

I was 19 that time, studying 1st year B.A economics.

All go and eat in common kitchen dining in second floor ,I will go one floor down. One old fat granny was our care taker. She is like anglo-indian type. Like age around 75. She takes cares of our laundry for my floor and second floor 3 rooms around some 10+ ladies stayed. Also cleaning the room and bedsheets covers pillows all work granny do. She cant sit at one one place. Second floor girls some time come up to terrace floor to take fresh air from open sky

Also to collect their dried clothes. Mostly granny will do that. Sometimes ladies come up. All are elder than me like 24, 27, 28 working.


One time I got some severe fever in mid of may. Full headache

Can’t eat properly, I was not able to to go to dining hall. So Granny brings me food. Took me one to Hospital in Tuk-Tuk. Got inhection and tablets .

Since semesters are over I have to join only computer coaching class. For that I was not going to native.

2 days over I was sill not recovered. So granny made Herbal tonic in kitchen very bitter taste. Smell also not easy. She gave that from 3rd day.

I was not taking bath. In summer too much sweat 😓 I started to smell. Granny said on the 4th day to me to bath. She just asked me to sit on chair and took all bed sheets and pillow cover in washing machine.


Then took me to bath room. She said remove my clothes and bath. The washing machine drain water hose crosses door. So the door will be open. Its afternoon. So all go to work. Granny only. So I find no problem. Before granny I don’t feel shy. So I removed my clothes and opened the tap. Water didn’t come. I called granny, and said that water is not coming. She opened the tap and one more tap both water didn’t come. Then she went to stairs and said to someone to switch on the motor. That water is not coming.

Then granny came and also one woman came with granny. I was so weak. I can’t feel shy or embarrassed, I was just standing full nude and waiting for water. Then after a minute, The water started to come in one tap. That woman works in bank. She is on leave that day. She was just taking free time in terrace

Then granny said to take bath and assisted. Whenever that woman crosses our bathroom I was little different.

Granny was applying soap in my back and chest shoulder and gave the soap in the hand to apply all places. I applied. I got good amount of pubic hair. When I apply soap in my pubic hair I felt like my penis is feeling differently. Slightly it began to grow. I think its because of that woman who is watching me and talking to granny, I get little excitement even on that feverish situation. Then after that when granny poured water on my head I started shivering. Whole body shivering very much cold like. One more mug water, I felt like my body is vibrating . Then Granny Fastly poured water and cleaned all soup. I was literally shivering so granny called that woman to take to room. She immediately came. Then both of them took me in both shoulder and taken me to room. Then granny removed the towel from my hip and wiped all the water from my body. I felt little better but still was shivering. Then I told to take my track pant. That woman took me from my cupboard. Then I wore my pant directly, since I don’t have strength to wear my inners.

Then wear a T shirt. Now I felt comfortable. Then I rested on my bed. Then time was 11:30 Am. I felt little hungry for the first time three days. I said granny. Granny said to the Banking woman to stay with me and went to kitchen to arrange food.

That banking woman name is Margarita Thomas. I know her before saw many times in dining. But I don’t her name. I asked then and she said and asked my name. I said. Then she checked my forehead for temperature. Her hand was hot. She said I am very cold. But no shivering. She asked how are you feeling. I was full of body pain little bit. But it is far better than yesterday.

She told me to sleep and pressed my head and gave massage to my shoulders hands. Then leg also. I said No Madam, no need to massage my legs. But she said its ok. Then she pressed my legs. It was feeling nice. Since I don’t wear my inner. I felt little feelings. It started to harden a little. I suddenly said I will turn and sleep on chest. Then she massaged my back. Then thigh and legs. After 10 mins she stopped it and went to her floor.


I felt asleep. Atleast 1hr I slept. Then Granny came and given voice waking me up. And presented Dhal, Roti, Sabji. No butter no curd. I asked to give butter and Curd. But Granny refused. Tomorrow if you are ok you will eat. Today no , she said. Last three days no ghee, no butter, no lassy, no milk and no milk products. These all my favourite food. Then I finished four rotis, cup of dal and vegetables sabji. Granny took all utensils and went. Margarita also seems that taking lunch. Then her sound came in the stairs. She was climbing to my floor. She came with hot water in one hand and a sweet in other hand. She opened that. It was mothi laddu. Orange colour good ghee smell came. She came and sat on my study chair just aside of my bed. And kept the water flash on table. She opened the sweet box she took laddu in her left hand and offered me Laddu box to take laddu. I took one and she kept it on table and we had few bites of laddu.


Then she poured hot water in a glass and mixed with normal water from cane and gave to me. I drank it. She ask for one more laddu. I said no no. Enough. Now only finished the Food so enough, I said thanks for the laddu, it was tasty too with ghee. She brought it from her hometown from Punjab, she said.

I was kinda better, and sat in the bed my back on the wall. She asked me where are you from, she guessed I am from south. I said, I am from Andhra. She said yeah, I can figure out from your Hindi that you must be from south. I know little Hindi. She knows Hindi fluently as like Punjabi. We started talking to each other. About my college and studies she asked. I told her that I am feeling relaxed after a week almost. Also I said other than Granny I don’t talk to anybody much. She asked how you know this PG. I said the PG owner SardarJi’s younger brother have worked in Andhra for Government job for 3 years and retired. He stayed in my father’s friend’s house and after retirement, he came back to delhi. That happened when I was in 5th class. But since then we have good relations. She said, like we were wondering how you staying alone in this room. Because last 3 years this room is mostly used by house owners for store room and nobody stayed in terrace, she asked how are you managing alone. I said I am not afraid. She said not about that, means No friends come here not feel boring, in that sense. Only Saturday Sunday. Otherwise no problem so far. But Now semester holiday one and half month. I don’t know how it will be. I just think about it after you asked it, how it will be...I said. She smiled. So that you caught fever?, she replied with smile. I said I feel good. Thank you I said. She said why thank you and all. Nothing even I also feel nice. many days we watched you in the dining room. You seemed to be like a home sick boy not talking to anyone. Today you are talking. Its good, she said. I said I don’t know this place and delhi also new, thats why. I said studying in JNU was my ambition. That’s why I came. She appreciated me for taking such a decision at this age coming this far to study.

Our conversation went on for more than 1 hour. Then she said she will come back after sometime and asked me to take rest. I was very happy to talk to her. I just slept and rested. Around 5:30pm granny came up with Tea and woke me up. I said to granny to keep and go. She said to drink otherwise it will get cool. She went down. I slept. After sometime, I was listening to the voices of Granny and Margarita mam downstairs must he talking in kitchen. I was thinking to wake up but still in sleepy mood. The Margarita mam called me by my name twice and I woke up. She said wanna drink tea, already its cold. She took the tea and went down to heat it. I also stood from bed went to bathroom and sat in terrace bench for sometime. The she came up with tea in flask and two bread slices also. She served to me and herself we were sipping it. She stood with tea and was walking in the terrace. She is tall good looking and very fair in colour but must be much elder than me. She was wearing salwar kameez. The evening was nearing the dark. Wind is not hot. Its normal. I was feeling slightly cold, but not shivering. We finished the tea and she collected the glass and flask and kept aside. She asked how are you feeling. I said ok. I am normal. I asked her, Mam you know Delhi very well? I don’t know many places. She said that she went to many places with her friends. I said I want to see Qutup-minar and Taj Mahal. She said first you have get well from the fever then you can see whatever you want, she said with laughter. I said I am fine after meeting you. She said, I am happy that I am in leave today. Granny alone couldn’t have taken care of you, its good that she called me. I said, now I am better. Thanks for your help. She said its ok I am free today was sitting bored downstairs until granny call me to come to terrace. Also I was wondering that she bathe you like a boy, when I was present, I don’t know how you felt, sorry for that, she said. I said mam, I felt differently today. But you are much older, so I adjusted.

She said... what? Its not right to say I am older. Do I look like old for you? She asked immediately.

I said sorry Mam. I didn’t mean it that way. Just for respect sake I said you are older. That’s all. What kind of respect it is, she replied. That time Granny footwear sound of climbing the stairs came. We turned towards that. She came and sat beside me and exhaled. I asked Granny what is your age? Granny said that She was celebrating 25th year birthday with her husband on the day evening the newspaper came about the US threw Atom bomb on Hiroshima/Nagasaki. From past few decades I stopped counting my age, she replied. I then was calculating the age. Margarita mam asked where were you at that time? Granny said that she was in Madras later came to delhi after his husband passed away. I interrupted and said
to granny that this year we will celebrate your birthday very grandly. Then I saw Margarita mam, she said to me that hmmm you have a good sense. She told me Ok we will do. Granny said with smile “waste of money”. I said money is waste. Margarita mam laughed. Ok, I will go downstairs, said Granny stood and took the glasses and flask and went down.

Margarita mam told me to take rest. I said no mam. I feel like breathing outside. Then I asked mam about her room mates, how many from where so on. She replied that she has 2 room mates one from Assam and one from Jammu. She added both study PG went to native for holidays. So you are also alone, I asked. Thats why I am in terrace this much time, she replied.
She switched on the lights of terrace. I said mam why are you standing. Sit in the end I said. She said its ok, just wish to walk. She just walked in the terrace and said to me to take rest, if I need. I said its ok mam. I feel good to be talking to you. She said fine then. She didn’t speak anything. I don’t know what to speak. I felt happy watching her. Its first time I am feeling like free. I said thank you mam for helping me in the bathroom. She said you thanked me many times, its fine. I told mam can you stay in terrace today. She said why? What suddenly she asked? I said just asked mam. I never felt like the way today I am. She said you are a kid. I said why ? How can you call me like this? I am a college guy and have Mustache, I replied. She smiled and said yeah yeah I saw you afternoon in the bathroom shivering like a kid, not even hold your towel. I only helped. I felt ashamed. She asked why no sound. I said if you are in such fever and such situation then you will know. She laughingly came and sat beside me and said ok ok don’t worry. Don’t curse me. I am fine. You will be fine. Next three days Bank holiday, so I will be in PG only. I smiled at her and said mam, you are very nice person. She said, Don’t praise me. In office, many say I am very strict and workaholic. I said ok mam, let it be.

Mam said, ok then take rest I will have to
go take bath. I asked will you come back. She said that she will bring food and left. I went inside room. Felt like sweating. So switched on the cooler, no water the filled it. The cooler started throwing cool air. I opened my computer after 5 days. I played a Jackie chan movie. After 15 mins I felt like taking bath, whole day slept in bed so felt like not fresh so removed my clothes and roll my towel around my waist. I throw the boxer and t shirt into bucket. I went to bath room and open the shower. I felt little cold not any shivering. I just stood below shower for 5-10 minutes. Turn off the shower and opened the door and came out with towel. Margarita mam was sitting in my room cot. I think she is watching the movie. I didn’t paused it. I went in with towel. She was gorgeous, wearing Nighty long hair loose and dried. The food was kept near laptop on study table. She saw me with her eye brow up and said wipe yourself. Without wiping you are coming, she said. Cooler had brought down the room temperature. Don’t get shiver like morning, you only have a tiny towel around and granny also not here she laughingly said. I blushed and went in crossed her to my cupboard. I was seeking my boxer and a cotton T shirt. The funny thing is in the movie that time Jackie chan also wore only towel and running in street and lost it. Then he shows his ass and run. She laughed like anything and turned to me I was wearing boxer she laughed at me. She exclaimed, what a day. I am seeing lot of good scenes from morning. I said I didn’t expect you will turn. So what. I saw you already in the morning for long time, she replied. I said mam you have long hair. I didn’t notice before.
She said ok come and eat Its getting cold.

I then sat on chair and took my plate. She brought ghee. She poured it on roti. How you know I like ghee. I don’t know. Its from my home I brought. I asked did she finished her food. She said no yet to. Then I said her to go finish the supper and come. She asked for some more ghee, I nodded. She put and I said enough, then she took the ghee bottle went.

I finished my food and washed the utensils. I waited for some time for her then I took the utensils and went down to keep it in dining almost 10pm. There no one is there at dining. All rooms are closed. In dining I was watching TV, changing channels. Then mam came out from her room. She was coming in the passage. I saw her, go into kitchen. Washed things and came to dining. She asked hey you here?. I smiled. She said what are you watching. Just changing channels, nothing.
She invited to her room, come lets go. I stood and went to her room. There were 3 cots. Room is chilled with air cooler. She said me to sit. She went to rest room and came. I asked do you have computer, since no TV. She said yes, but don’t use much. Then she opened her cupboard and took laptop and charger. Gave to me. I switched it on. I asked her any movie she has. She sat beside and showed folders. Some 10-15 old black and white movies collection she had. She said I have only classical movies of Dev anand, Rishi Kapoor, etc. I just used her computer for 10-15 minutes she showed her tour photos with friends. After that I said ok I will leave. Are you coming up.

She said me to stay at her room. I said lets speak some time. She asked how is fever she touched my forehead. It was very nice. Her hand was hot. I said you are hot. She blushed and asked what? I mean your hand. She said yes I am hot. We both laughed. She asked me why you wanted her to stay upstairs. I said I forgot why I said. That moment I just felt like saying. She asked me for water. I said yes. She put water on a glass and gave me. I drunk. She said she is feeling like sleeping. What about you she asked. I said I slept whole day. I will watch some movie from your laptop, you please sleep I said. She said ok watch I will give Company, she said. Then searched and selected bobby movie. I know songs are hit. But didn’t watch it. I played it and watched she asked switch off the light. She said she will keep the bathroom light in on. She went to sleep. I watched the movie and when I slept I don’t know. Then in the early morning around 4:30Am, I was woken little still half sleeping by listening songs from her phone. Almost half an hour like that I listened. Then I had a urine sensation. Woke up and walked towards the bathroom. Where she was bathing, I waited for almost 10 minutes. She is singing and bathing. I can’t control anymore, So I knocked. She asked what Mana? I said its urgent. Then she asked to wait. Then opened the door, dressed and came out. Then I went in and relieved. The bathroom was full of soap smell. I came out she asked ok? Yeah. Then she went in. It was nice. She was full wet. The place she stood also wet. I put the matt above that place and went to bed and slept. The bathroom door opened, I was just eager what is she wearing. But I am just in half sleep thinking it. She came with a big white towel. She opened the cupboard searched for 2 minutes. I was sleeping on chest still able to see her legs and shoulder and hair is rolled with another towel. Then she switched off the light. Total black. After some 10 seconds from the bathroom light the whole room is slightly visible in the dark. I saw that she was just wiping her body with the towel she wore. I can see the outline of her body. I can’t say how I felt. My heart beat went up. She wore her inners and dresses. Almost 10 minutes. I saw her in dark. She then switched on the light I suddenly closed my eyes. She stood before vanity and did her hair and make up. She called me Mana. I pretended like sleeping. She shook my shoulder and woke me. I opened her eyes and saw her with fear. She said that she is going to temple will come back by 6:30am. I said I will go to my room. She said actually sorry to interrupt the sleep. I said its ok, like that and we both went out she locked the room. Its 5:00am. She went to passage and give sign. I crossed her and went to take stairs.

I went up and can’t sleep. I was just thinking about what happened just before. Then I was waiting for her to come. She came up by 6:45. I was just on bed. She came inside my room with smile. She said that at night she forgot about the morning. Thank god, nobody saw us coming out of the room. She said. I was not reacting immediately. I said, that I didn’t think about it. She laughed, said Ok baby don’t bother. I said thanks and asked everyday you go to temple? She said no only on Fridays. I thought you are a Christian. She said of course I am an Orthodox Christian. But only Friday going to Mataji temple I am practicing from last year with my childhood Hindu friend Kausalya, who settled here near our area. So that. I said you are looking beautiful mam. She blushed with full happy face. She said thank you and asked me how you feel. I said I am fine. Fever is gone. Then she said lets go out today. I didn’t expect. With surprise I nodded. She told me to take bath and get ready and come to dining. We take food and leave. I then get ready in half an hour and went to dining. By 8:30 I finished breakfast and said granny that I am fine and going to friends home and come later. Then I went down joined her at the corner of the street. We walked to the nearby bus stop just 200 meters walk, and by bus to nearby metro and I took my purse to buy tickets. She stopped me. She paid.

I didn’t ask her where are we going? What plan? Nothing. We went to metro and sat on train. She asked me, you didn’t ask, where we are going,? I said I am already very happy. Wherever you take me it doesn’t matter. Qutup-minar of Mehrauli doesn’t matter? She asked thinly. I just saw her face and can’t answer, just laughing. I said, in one year I didn’t see it , in one day you are taking me. Its unbelievable, I uttered. She patted on my shoulder. I felt she is very generous and caring person.


The whole day we spent in Qutup-minar. it was awesome. She brought a camera. We talked to each other. Many foreigners came. Couples , friends and family its super place. Then we took lunch there. Then we rested at garden for hours talking to each other, watching people . And by 5:00 pm, The iron pillar, if we wish something by joining our hand backwards it will happen. I asked her to try fir her there was around 1 feet gap. She asked me to try, I am not taller than her so I thought I cannot. When I try She encouraged me to try little more little more, pillar was so hot also, I trued my best then she touched both my hands with her’s and said do your wish now, right now. I said I don’t have any. She insisted don’t waste the opportunity. Others are waiting, Wish something she repeated. I didn’t take it serious. I closed my eyes.morning she was standing in the dark without clothes that memory only came to my mind. Then I wished to see her in light. Then came off the pillar. She laughed and I admired her but didn’t speak anything couldn’t laugh with her. After walking some distance. I asked you believe that the pillar makes our wish complete. She told if your wish is true and not harmful to others then the pillar will definitely help you. I shrugged and saidI didn’t wish anything bad. She said, when I said you wished bad. By the way what was your wish, she curiously cutely asked. I said No madam., Oh I see.., Secret wish it seems, kid grown up it seems She exclaimed and said Don’t forget that Your hands alone not enough, I gave you my hands. Ha ha ha. Ok mam, you said I did. All credit goes to you. She smilingly said, so clever. I said mam, I don’t feel like you are just my friend. She excitedly asked how come in one day I became young? I answered that you made me feel like you are very energetic and young. Sounds good, she said with smile.

Then the time was almost 6:00, we left the place, I said to mam, that I want to pay for dinner, please allow me. She said no chance. Also no need to waste money eating outside. Lets go back, we will eat some other day she said. I felt like she is strict. I said ok mam, as you say. We took metro back to Lajpat nagar. Took rickshaw to our place. We were sitting close, touching in jolting. By 8:00 we reached our PG. We paid and sent the rickshaw. I told her to go to upstairs first and will come later. She said that’s good. You come after sometime, she said and went. I came to room, bypassing the dining. After half an hour I went downstairs. Granny already went finishing her work. I took food in my plate, Mam came and said take the food and come to my room she said. I then took it in plate and went to her room. The door was open, I went in she already turned on the cooler and room was chilled. She also brought her food. I said I am not hungry. Full sweat I need to take bath.. I asked, that I will go take bath and come?. She advised me to take bath in her room. Since it just 8:45 pm someone may see you go out and come in. She gave me a towel. Then I took it and gone for bath. In bathroom soap rack many shampoo, soap, body wash its plenty of variety. I selected Loreal shampoo and aloevera body wash. I washed myself fresh and tied the towel and came out. She gave one more towel to dry my hair. She then went in to take bath. I sat on bed and took her laptop. I dried my head with another towel. I replayed bobby movie from the moment I slept yesterday. The door was locked. I was just curious about mam cannot resist thinking her. In movie, the song came Jhoot bhole kavva katte. I was watching. Mam came out dressed with night dress cotton shirt and pyjama. Towel on her head. In the shirt and pyjama she was looking awesome. Then she said shall we eat. I said not much hungry may he 2 rotis will he enough. Then we ate our food little. Then gave an apple. She went out washed and kept the plates in dining and came. I finished eating apple and stood to throw seeds. She gave me a thin yellow woollen shawl. She switched off the room light and slept. I was watching the movie and I was just thinking the whole day. I wanted to see her. So woke up after one hour and turned on the light. She was sleeping in other cot diagonally opposite her face towards wall. I can see her back. I woke up and went to bath room and urinated. Then saw her clothes hanging. I felt superb. I didn’t touch them. I came back then sat on bed and watched her. I was sleeping on chest and in my side eyes I managed to see her, she can’t notice my eyes are closed or open, room is not that bright. But I know She is standing naked now. Was wearing her bra. She asked how was the sleep. I said it was fine. She smiled. I also smiled. Then asked me watched the bobby movie completely? I said yes, yesterday I completely watched. Ok.

I said yesterday was superb. She said yeah, it was nice. I said I think I have to believe what you about the pillar. She asked what I said? I answered that you said my wish will come true if we embrace the pillar. She laughingly said yes. Its a belief. And also funny right? She asked. I nodded and agreed with smile. I said mam, your hair is superb. She laughed and said yes, some of friends are jealous of it. I asked what she use? why you want to grow like me.., I use homemade hibiscus herbal coconut oil, She said. Oh ok I replied. She poured me one more cup of tea, from flask. I said enough. She said Granny is in kitchen. She thinks you are in your friends’ home. I said, yeah I told her like that. She asked which time you want to take breakfast, so to take it to room? I said mam, given me 15 minutes, I will take bath and come. I went up and gone to bathroom.

When I come from bathroom she was not in room. I wore the same towel and was waiting for her. She came in with one plate breakfast poori was smelling superb, she saw me laughed seeing in same towel. And said your clothes are drying upstairs will be ready in hour and gave one towel. She said that she doesn’t have suitable cloth for me. I said of course its ok. She went out and came with one more plate and extra poori&subji. I wiped my hair with the another towel, Then we sat facing each other on the bed and started eating the breakfast. I was hungry.

While eating I saw her face and I felt she is beautiful. We didn’t talk much while eating.
