I'm Lance 33 single and I returned from working overseas 2 years ago and got a 45 acre property to live on. The house was in a sorry state, but I got to work fixing it up on moving in. I didn't actually move as just onto the property, there wasn't a good room in the house and I camped in the large shed at first. At least it was water tight, you couldn't say the same for the house. That took 6 months to complete it all, I had the property fences done by a fence contractor and got 3 horses and 10 head of cattle. It was just a hobby farm as I work from home and I always liked the open places and not crowded cities. I made a vegie patch and built a chicken run and started to settle in to new life. Then I received a call from sister Maureen 28. She was a restless person and couldn't settle in one place for long. She had lost her job and decided to visit me for a change of pace. She arrived 3 days later on the noon bus and I picked her up in the local town. We then went and got some extra groceries and any thing else she might want. Before headed home we had a couple of cold beers in the local bar. On getting back home I put away the groceries while Maureen put her things in her room. Then I suggested we go horse riding and she agreed. I gave her a tour of my property and then we returned to the house to make our dinner. During dinner Maureen asked why I didn't have a dog, I replied I hadn't got around to it just yet. After dinner I caught up on my work and Maureen read her book and we retired to bed around 10 pm. The next morning as I fed the the livestock, Maureen borrow my pickup and went into the town for a look around. She said she would bring home lunch, around 1pm she arrived home with lunch and a dog. It was a mixed breed called Rusty and she had got it in town as the owner had passed away and Rusty needed at new home. I knew better than to argue with Maureen and just accepted Rusty as a part of my home. Maureen let him stay inside that night and that's the way it would continue. Both Maureen and Rusty came into my room during a thunderstorm, Rusty under the bed and Maureen in it with me. I sleep naked and so I found out does Maureen, with the thunder booming outside she didn't bother dressing and acme a running with Rusty following behind her.
