Early last year I bought an attached house in my city, it was at the end of a block 10 houses all attached to each other. Built in the late 1800s and was in fairly good conditions, but needed updating. I'm a builder by trade and would do most of the work myself and have friends do the jobs I couldn't do. It was a major investment for me, at 26 single and living with my sister and her family across the city from my new home. First I removed the rubbish in the house and removed all the old wallpaper, then after my friend Richard had rewired the house and his Greg had renewed the plumbing. I started repairing the walls, floors ceilings, the internal staircase. I finished the master bedroom and bathroom first, so I could move in. The kitchen wasn't important, so I left it for later. I, not a cook and I ordered in takeaways and finished the other 2 bedrooms and original bathroom. Then I finished the lounge dining and basement, I build a deck on the back of the house. Then I started on the kitchen and while doing the kitchen, I sat down to have a beer and had turned off the lights in the kitchen. I was stopping for the day and was going to have a bath and go to bed after the beer. I sitting in the dark looking around at the kitchen walls when I noticed light coming thru the communal wall. It was only a small hole and I went and had a closer look at it, an old nail hole. But I could see into the house next door, nothing really to see. But it showed me that there was something really wrong with that wall. It should have been 6 inches thick and I estimated it was only an inch or so thick. But I couldn't do anything then and would go and see my neighbor on Saturday. I couldn't hang any cabinets on that wall until I fixed that wall. So on Saturday, I went next door knocked and met my Neighbor Sharon 47 single teacher. I introduced myself and told her about the wall. She invited me in and we went to her side of the wall examine it. While I talk to her she told that both houses been a guest house years before and had been connected with only 1 kitchen area and her kitchen was the newer one. It had been a small bedroom from the entry door towards the next house. When the guest closed the wall had been build to separate houses again. I asked her would it be okay to replace the wall, she was okay with that. I said It would about a day maybe 2, she pointed to the ceiling area which showed some damage. It was due to not being probably supported by the wall. I said I would fix that also and I would pay to replace the wall and she could paint her side as she wanted. That afternoon I took down the old wall and made a start on replacing it. When I was called away, I told Sharon I would finish the next day. She was okay with that, my sisters youngest had a fall in the playground and was taken to hospital. She had broken her arm and the whole family turned up at the hospital. After several hours I got back home and while sitting my half-finished kitchen, Sharon came to the hole in the wall and then joined me for a beer. She and I had a few more beers and then she said She was going to bed, I said without thinking Do you want some company. She looked at me and smiled replying Why not I haven't been fucked in at least a year. So I went to her bed with and fucked her, we had sex again the morning and the wall wasn't a priority after that. I fixed her ceiling and put up most of the wall, but left a doorway in the middle. But we couldn't leave the wall like that and I found a pair of old cabinets that I fitted to the wall and they could be opened like doors. Allowing us each to have visitors and nobody would know about the secret doorway except us. We still have sex on a regular basis and each have had other relationships with others. Sharon and my relationship is sex and companionship.
