Took my Chance

I've always had a crush on my sexy neighbor we'd grown up together. But only friends, she was a year younger than me, and she was a cheer leader in high school I was the class nerd. In university I continued my studies doing quite well, but due to martial arts training had filled out and not picked on anymore. I gave her a plastic bag; she gave me a kiss on getting back in my car. A peck more than a kiss, but I got excited and kissed her back and she didn't try and stop my advances. One thing led to another, and we became lovers and the following morning. She realized how far we had gone and asked did I take precautions, I hadn't. Not only had I taken her virginity, but I also hadn't used a condom. Realizing my mistake, I covered for my error saying she said I didn't need to use a condom. She hadn't but she couldn't remember either way, thinking I might have gotten her pregnant. I asked her to marry me straight away, at first, she was unsure. But agreed as it would be better to be engaged and pregnant, than not and be pregnant. Now engaged we hung out together a great deal more and regularly had sex with condoms. She didn't get pregnant, but it didn't change anything we were happy with our engagement. Marrying 7 months later, now 23 years after our marriage and 5 children, happily married still. I happy I took the chance when I did, as if I hadn't, we might not have married.
