New Job New Love

In 2021 I transferred to the other coast having just divorced, a no-fault divorce and no alimony or child support either. How 2 children had already left the nest so to speak. Still on friendly terms with my ex-wife, but thought a change was in order. So, once I was settled in my new job and apartment, I'd a PA assigned temporally. To allow me to find my own in time. The PA I was given was part of the office staff of the business and was 2 years younger than me, very efficient and nice to look at. Not that I was really to start dating again at the time. She didn't expect to have the job fulltime as younger women seemed to be preferred her view not mine. Anyway, my first real assignment was out of town and lasted a week with us staying in hotel rooms. We got on very well and I hadn't even thought of finding another PA. It wasn't high on my list of things to do and after another week I was asked by the office manager when I was going to find my own PA. Having not thought about it at all and thought the acting one was doing just fine, I said I'm happy with my current one. So, the office manager hired another office girl to replace my PA. My PA was okay with being my PA fulltime and we settled into a working arrangement. Also staying hanging out together more and more, neither of us in any relationship we sort of drifted into a relationship. One weekend we were out shopping for groceries as we usually did together, liking each other's company. Then I asked her to go to dinner with me that evening and she accepted. We'd a great meal and enjoyed ourselves and she stayed the night with me. Now we were lovers and she and I were soon living together and when we were out of town for work shared the same room. Last November we married, my children and ex-wife (remarried also) like my new wife and were at the wedding. Wasn't ready for another relationship and sort of fell into one without even trying, but I'm very happy I did.
