Fast Tracked Career

I'm an only child and my parents were late in starting a family is the main reason for me being their only child. They own a successful business, and I was to take over someday. Not as quick as it happened those. My mother was ill (early onset dementia), my father decided to retire earlier than he had planned to look after his wife. His business kept him busy as he and his PA had to travel quite a bit together and were in a sexual relationship, it wasn't hidden from me. I was also engaged to marry my girlfriend a week after our graduation. After we graduated, my father told me was to take over the business fully asap. It meant I would start at the top and need my own PA, that was easily solved my wife would fill that role. My father's PA was living with him and my mother and would help look after my mother, as she was already doing but it would be then fulltime. I would be still living on the family estate with my wife after the wedding along with her mother (widow). Her mother worked at the university and thru her I became close to her daughter, and I'd been sleeping with the mother before her daughter and still do. My father and PA would stay for a change over period 4 weeks and then it would be me and my wife. As we were taken a bit by surprise over my father's retirement no prior warning, we'd started trying to start a family. Not going to wait like my parents had, the day before graduation she was confirmed as pregnant. My father decided I should only have a secretary to help my wife/PA, and her mother was chosen to be the secretary. That was 2010 and my mother passed away in 2020 in her sleep before the pandemic started. We knew it was coming as the doctor said she was wasting away and nothing they could do. At least she saw her 4 grandchildren before she passed. My father married his PA in late 2022 and likes being retired. The business has grown, and my wife has her own assistant (since 2013) to give her more free time with the children, her mother and we've new secretary. Otherwise, it's the same as before and everybody is happy.
