Loan to a loser friend

I made a 6-figure loan to a friend from university as he had help me lose my virginity while university. I was a geek/nerd, and he was the smooth talker type, and he got a girl to take my virginity. So, years later we met again, and he had a get rich quick scheme and I lent him the money to help him get started. He done okay for a year, but then it fell apart fairly quickly, and he had done some illegal things, and the authorities were going to put him in jail. I paid off the off debts that were behind his illegal actions and so the debtors withdrew their complaints. Now having double my loan to him and had written it off as a total loss. Suddenly he died in a multi vehicle accident in a snowstorm, his car crushed by a truck. It was only then I found out he was married, and the now widow had large financial concerns. With his funeral costs adding to her problems. Insurance paid some not all and with the cost of his funeral and my loan to her late husband not covered in the pay out and no home either. She was desperate and I offered to help her, and she was very grateful. I decided to take a lesson from my now departed friend and leverage it to my advantage. I then 35 was single and wanted a family and offered her a better life then what she was facing in return for her giving me children. She accepted and so I married her with a prenup in place and over the 7 years we've been married. I believe the loan to my late friend was the best investment I've ever made. I'm quite happy being married to her and love my 3 children I had with her. I also love her, and she is a great wife and lover.
