Old School Friend

I done at school and university and now have a great career, at school I'd a friend who didn't do well at school and so she left to work low paid jobs. I lost contact with her and after university and returning to my home city and starting my career. I caught up with old friends. I'll call her Mary and I hadn't seen Mary for some time and none of my other friend knew anything about since her leaving school. I got my own apartment close to workplace, I'm no cook and tried different places looking for the meals available in walking distance of my apartment. While having lunch I saw Mary working as a waitress, but she hadn't noticed me or hadn't recognized me one or the other. But I'd to go and decided to see her next time I was there. Which was dinner that evening, hoping she would be still working. She was, I manage to have a quick talk with her and found out she finished in an hour. So, I waited, and I walked with her to her home. Her car she was living in her car, and I decided to offer her a bed to sleep in as I had a spare bedroom. She accepted and she parked her car in my car space that came with the apartment. I don't drive and so don't have a car; she told the job was temporary and she would be moving on again soon. I'd not tried to seduce her or anything else, but she offered me sex as a thank you for my helping her. I accepted as I'm not the greatest with women. But the following morning, I asked her to stay with me and be my girlfriend. Somewhat shocked at first, but she decided to give it a try. Saying it was best offer she has had, we started going everywhere together and I asked her to marry me after 6 months. She accepted and all precautions stopped and 2 months later we married and just after she was confirmed as pregnant. Now 14 years later and 4 children we're very happy with our marriage, only change was getting a house.
